Ella’s 5th Birthday Party

Ella is now 5 and she lets the whole world know. It’s like there was a magic button at five for her that just made her feel so old. She cracks me up and also makes me feel so proud and impressed. She is becoming a better reader each day and just wants to get better. She spells every sign she sees to me and asks what it says (though when I ask her she can usually tell me). She tells everyone she loves them and means it. She is a fun girl! At five she weights 34lb 12oz (16th percent) and is 40.5 inches tall (15th percentile).

I can’t believe Addie is 2! She had a great time celebrating with all her friends! She is such a funny, smart and lovable girl. She is 1 week into potty training and doing fabulous. She talks in sentences and makes it known she already wants privacy in the bathroom. She loves her sister and they have great adventures together. Happy Birthday Addie!!!

Our trip to the midwest

The girls and I spent two weeks in the midwest. First we went to Cincinnati to visit Ann and Grace, then we went to Chicago to visit my dad and family. We had a great time! The weather was nice and we had a blast playing with everyone!

Visiting Aunt Anna and Uncle Ryan

We just took a short 3-day trip to Palo Alto to visit Aunt Anna and Uncle Ryan. We picked oranges and lemon’s in Anna’s neighborhood, got thrown off the Google property, went to an amusement park/zoo, and hiked near the Golden Gate Bridge; lot’s of fun!

We finally had some decent weather this week; enough to take some photos of the girls at Woodstock Park.
